I’ve always been fascinated by how a well-tended garden can transform not just a space, but a whole day. Whether it’s a sunny slope, stubborn clay soil, or a small balcony garden, I love experimenting with ways to turn even the trickiest spots into thriving, vibrant green spaces.

Why I Started This Blog

Gardening can be incredibly rewarding but it’s not always easy. Over the years, I’ve faced my fair share of gardening challenges, from clay-heavy soils to tricky slopes, boggy areas, poor soil quality and rubble. I wanted to create a space where I can offer ideas and some of my solutions to gardening problems, practical advice, inspiration and a little encouragement to gardeners to help gardens and plants flourish – whatever the conditions.

A Little About Me

I’m not just a gardener or a ‘garden blogger’. I love nurturing the all the natural world, helping plants to grow and seeing outdoor spaces transform. I love the idea of the garden being a haven for wildlife, working with nature and being as ecofriendly as possible. When I’m not in the garden, I love being with my family and the dogs and cats. You might find me photographing pretty gates and doorways, getting inspiration from other gardens I happen across, planning my next planting, making cuttings or sharing my discoveries with fellow green thumbs.
