Difficult Garden Starter Kit

Creating a thriving garden isn’t always straightforward. Many gardens begin with challenging soil conditions such as heavy clay, stony ground, boggy areas, or steep slopes. These problems can make planting frustrating and often lead to plants failing before they have a chance to establish.

I know this experience well. Our own garden started on difficult ground that included clay soil, rubble, and poorly draining areas, and it took a lot of trial and error to understand what would truly grow and thrive.

I’m currently putting together the Difficult Garden Starter Kit, a practical guide designed to help gardeners tackle these common problems and create outdoor spaces that flourish with plants, wildlife, and natural life.

Inbetween times – The first thing you need to do is check your soil. If you’re unsure what type of soil you’re dealing with, start by learning how to test your soil.
